Ricordeau was created in 1870.
It was formerly a renowned coaching inn, where
carriages visiting this peaceful village would
stop for the night. Some time later, the post
house became a nationally famous hotel-restaurant.
Loué was a favorite stopping place for
travelers from Paris to Brittany.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman took over the establishment
four years ago and offer guests a completely
refurbished hotel on two floors, with bathrooms
equipped with hairdryers and television with
Eurosport, Canal Plus and an English and a German
TV channel. Some rooms and suites are air-conditioned
with a view onto the road or garden.
13 rooms each with their own unique style. Prices
: from 95 euros to 165 euros.
Breakfast (15 euros) is a buffet of cold meats,
cheeses, fruit salads and "Homemade"
jams...
"Half-board" prices and the weekend
fixed price can be obtained on request.
The swimming pool in our landscaped park is
available every day in the summer season...
and you can also take a jaunt on the Vègre
river in a boat.
